The Card Quest
August 30, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment
I try to make this post as humorous as possible.. a look at the title will reveal a resemblence to a popular Japanese RPG game.
They say visiting Japan is a great experience, living in Japan is a nightmare..
I do not want to be bias or ultra-right, because every country always have this “story” about how they treat foreigners…
But boy!! its hard to be a “gaijin” in this country! I got rejected 4 times now applying for credit card, although I have perfect credit score.. Well everybody is saying that getting a credit card in the USA is like asking your neighbour for candies during halloween.. but not the case in Japan.
But no hard feelings..after all, we are living in foreign land, and have the ability to max the credit and “run away” to God knows which land…
So today, I worked hard.. (the hardest I have worked on in a few days) I filled up the tedious credit card application form, Photocopied my prove of income: which consist of my Scholarship and oversease remmitance notification..(which involves getting wet in the rain, as I have to stop over and find a copy machine)
Then I worked my way out dramatically moved myself and the application envelope and kissed it before dropping it in the post box..
There you go…
Hopefully I sealed it with a lucky kiss.. and hopefully.. none of those deameaning cruel letter of rejection EVER come again to my place
If this one rejects me again.. there is only one last chance in COSTCO….
cheers everyone!

Thank God it’s Friday!-Minimal Trading day

There is not much to write today because I have my own “trader’s rule”
and that is: NO TRADE on FRIDAY
Here is my justification:
1. I saw in one experienced trader’s blog once, that it is not advisable to trade on Friday.
2. No. 1 was backed by my own experience so far:
a. Friday is usually a wrap up of the week’s Economic performance for EU and the US, market can be highly unpredictable.
b. Friday’s open long trade, can continue till next week (unclosed) and God knows what happen when something big (Government announcement ETC) during the weekend.. Monday’s and Tuesday would not look as good a trend as the week before…
But I took a little gamble and was LUCKY to wake up (yes I was taking a nap) at the right time to close it when it was USD5 plus profit.. I know its small, but after a few hours, the EURUSD was going Downhill drastically!
Lucky me!
So I closed the week With these result for Bogie-nn-v8:
Total profit: USD596.68
Total Trades: 9
Winning Trade: 8
Losing Trade: 1
It was a Good Week!
Well TGIF! No Trading on Fridays for me…
Happy Weekend and have a good rest!
Third Day-To Close(manually) or not to Close(manually)
August 28, 2008 by admin · Leave a Comment
Hey guys,
Sorry for the long title, but I think that it is the appropriate “theme” of the day..
You see, in my previous post, I was a true believer of Laissez-faire… or in other words, Be lazy and Dont monitor or close trade manually.. (whats the point of automatic if it isnt right?)
But today I learnt something valuable, sometimes.. intervention is a good thing..
Yesterday I talked about two trades being opened and still floating.. it was going on a good start, when the GBPUSD was doing USD100plus and EURUSD was at 40USD.. but then it went north and the EURUSD pairs ended up being closed at -38.50 and GBPUSD closed at 79.60…
Then I listened to the interview by the maker: William Boatright, that sometimes if you have a situation and you are there to intervene, than jolly well do it… a plus is a plus…
Today was great! I earned USD146 although I could earn more if I close the trade manually..
BUT HEY… Why am I complaining?? the system still proves to be great! although I win less and have some minus.. my equity is growing!… think about it, what if I need to attent to some other matters (urgent ones) and couldn’t be there to close it manually.. I still get USD146.. if I have to forfeit that important moment (being with my girlfriend for example) just to manually close the trade.. it would make me maybe another extra USD100 or so… but some things in life are “PRICELESS” for you to miss isn’t it??

Cheers all and Happy Pippin!
second day-Bogie all the way!

This is my second day testing, and as I write this blog, here is a third day Prove of the superb system!
http://dealsmoney.com/forex/DetailedStatement.htm
As you can see in the above link.. the Laissez-faire succeded! the EA expertly closed the trade when it needed to be closed! and as a result I pocketed USD96.50!! (remember I wanted to close when it was 70s..)
I learn to trust this EA now and let it do its job!
Now now, the EA is now floating on Two open trades, in two pairs, the EURUSD and GBPUSD
Lets see on our next blog, what is the result!
thanks for tuning in!

First Day-Fantastic!

As you guys have known, I am testing my new Bogie-NN-v8! to check out what the fuss it’s all about.
Well as the title blew it away, I am so far a BIG fan of this EA!
Not only because of its credibility (winning second place of the automated trading championship)
but also because of its great system that the creator made it to be.
My first trade was not very good.. WHY?? one word for you: inexperience, and if I may add one more word for you it will be: GREED..
Yes.. I have to admit, my old bad habits came back, I tend to “distrust” EA’s judgement and rush in to close “manually” after closing it, the trade went down for a while… but if I didnt close it, it turned out that I would pocket USD100 PLUS! Instead.. I was foolishly happy at that time to pocket USD37,-.. But a win is a win.. no matter how small.. at least it is not a Minus!
My Second and Third trade came together.. I am bold enough to trade multi currency, putting EURUSD and GBPUSD pairs together at the same time..
It opens up the trade.. and I learnt from my past mistake..(although at times I must admit I felt that I wanted to close it “manually”) and I told myself: “If you are going to close it MANUALLY, then why dont call it, Manually automated trading system?”…so I did the LAISSEZ-FAIRE….in short.. I learn to ignore and be lazy..
and BOY did I made the right decision! if I closed it, I would ran away with a total of USD70 plus for BOTH winning trade..
But guess what? it closed at USD329,- for BOTh trades….. GEEZZ I became a true believer! (maybe too fast..)
Now as I am typing this.. the EA is trading after a BUY signal was confirmed, and I leave it alone.. it went from MINUS to USD15.. stucking at USD27-30 (that is when my hand itch to close it.. by my head tells otherwise..) and now its USD69-70! lets see on my next post whats its gonna be..
cheers mate
Have fun Trading!
Testing Bogie-NN-v8

Finally after the ups and downs of FAPS (Forex AutoPilot System)
I decided that if a system (forex autotrader system) is always giving me heart attack and sleepless nights due to intense worrying every now and then, it is time to STOP…
What is the use of the word “AutoPilot” if it makes you worries about losing money, and made you trade “manually” in the end?
On 25th of August, with a live account at FXpro.com I started Testing on my USD1290,-
Lets See how it goes, and hopefully this Blog will be useful for people who wants to know about Bogie-NN-v8
Will keep you posted
Anton
